It comes from 770-356-4462, and we set a time that works, often the same day. If it turns out your problem needs hands on the machine, I tell you right then.
3. You let me in
With me on the phone, you open a one-time link and approve the connection yourself. Nothing happens on your computer until you do.
4. You watch me fix it
You see everything on your own screen, and you can stop it at any time. When the job is done, the connection comes off your computer.

How long does a remote repair take?
Usually under an hour. If yours looks like it will run longer, I tell you before we start.
What if it cannot be fixed remotely?
Then you get your $100 back. If I can see it needs hands on the machine, I tell you, and if you are in my service area we can set up a house call instead.
Is this safe? I have heard about remote scams.
That worry is the right one to have. The scam starts with someone calling you, or a pop-up telling you to call a number. Here, you find me, you call or text me or fill out this page, and you approve the connection yourself while we are on the phone. I never call out of the blue about your computer, and I never ask for gift cards, wire transfers, or your bank login.
Who is working on my computer?
Me, Justin, the owner. Woodstock Computer Repair is a registered Georgia LLC, licensed by the City of Woodstock, and insured, and I have completed a Level 2 criminal history background check.
Do I have to live near Woodstock?
No. Remote repair works anywhere in the United States as long as your computer turns on and connects to the internet.
What can’t be fixed remotely?
Anything physical: a computer that will not turn on or will not get online, a cracked screen, a dead battery, a failing drive, or WiFi that has to be tested room by room. Those need a house call.
Do you work on Macs remotely?
Remote repair is for Windows computers right now. If you have a Mac, call or text 770-356-4462 and I will tell you what I can do.
Is the work guaranteed?
Yes. All work carries a 30-day warranty. If something I fixed stops working within a month, I connect again and make it right.
