Privacy Policy
This is a one-person local business, and this policy is written the way I'd explain it across your kitchen table. Short version: I collect what I need to answer you and fix your computer, I don't sell it, and you can ask me to delete it.
What I collect
What you send me. When you use the contact form, the chat widget, or the repair intake form, I receive what you type: your name, phone number, email, your message, and — for repair intake — device details and your signature. Submissions are stored privately on my server and emailed to me.
What's collected automatically. Like most websites, this site uses analytics to see which pages people visit: Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel (Facebook). They use cookies and collect things like the pages you view, your device and browser type, and your approximate (city-level) location. The Meta Pixel also lets me show my ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who have visited this site. The web server also keeps standard logs, which include IP addresses.
How it's used
To reply to you, do the work you asked about, and remember what we talked about. Analytics tells me which pages and channels bring in neighbors so I know what's worth doing more of. That's it — I don't sell your information, share it with data brokers, or put you on marketing lists.
Who sees it
Me. Along the way, the services that make the site run process some of it: Google (analytics, and Gmail delivers form submissions to my inbox), Meta (the pixel) and my hosting provider.
Cookies and your choices
The analytics and ad cookies aren't required — the site works fine with an ad blocker, with cookies blocked, or with Do Not Track on. Block away; you won't hurt my feelings.

Odds and ends
This site isn't directed at children under 13 and I don't knowingly collect their information. If this policy changes, the update gets posted here with a new date.
